SCWS Technology

SCWS technology is based on OMA standards and involves the embedding of a WEB server inside a SCWS compliant Smart Card.Thanks to the embedded Web server, HTML pages can be loaded on the USIM card. For this reason it is possible to provide a friendly graphical interface to USIM card applications for low-end phones. The OMA SCWS also provides mechanisms for the management of web pages installed on the USIM, pages that can be remotely updated. It is also possibile the interaction between the web pages and the JavaCard applications installed on the USIM to allow the user to access the functionality of his USIM Card (encryption capabilities, access to data stored in secure areas of the memory of the USIM, the setup of voice, access to the USIM phone book, etc..) through the graphical interface of the browser.

Platform - Web2U

Movenda Web2U is a modular platform that allows the management of millions of end users' SCWS compliant USIM, through its highly scalable architecture. Web2U enables a high level profiling of users, while maintaining a copy, in its database, synchronized with the web portal available on the USIM SCWS.

Movenda Web2U  allows the definition of different admin and user groups with different levels of rights to access the available functionalities. Content management functionalities may performed by several types of users with specific roles, such as administrators, customer care, dealers, third-party content providers.

With the SCWS technology and Web2U platform, the end user will discover a new world of services and applications accessible on any SCWS compliant mobile device. Thanks to the USIM as physical support, users will benefit of the complete portability of their data and an easy access to a world of mobile web services and applications
