Machine to Machine is an expression used to identify all those application scenarios that do not require the interaction of a human being to access services. Belong to this classification all the applications that use the USIM to allow access to the mobile network to various electronic devices (home automation systems, control of motor vehicles, tele-control, etc.. etc.). Movenda platform was born to give a valid response to the requirements of the Machine to Machine environments. Movenda's solution is called "Plat4Machines", and its purpose is to aggregate all the typical procedures in the world of Machine to Machine on a friendly, single point of access to management enviroment.

Plat4Machines provides a centralized access to the management services of USIM and of devices used in machine to machine architectures. Through a single management interface, it is possible to manage contents of USIM (file system and JavaCard applications) software and configuration of devices (modems) that host the USIM. Through custom solutions it is also possible to provide a wide range of additional services that may be useful for a particular architecture; for example, it's possible to implement remote access to network information recoverable from the USIM, information for geo-location of the device, etc.
